Probably this is the first time you have news about us, so
we introduce you: PSM
Music and Flor
y Nata Records are two indie record labels from the same
company based in Barcelona (Spain).
PSM Music is on music bussines since 1991 and it's a label
open to all kind of music (rock, jazz, world music, even flamenco
music).
Flor y Nata Records was founded en 1981 with the explosion
of the "new wave". After a long time out of bussines,
this label start again in 2005 with some very interesting
pop & rock bands and with the rescue of historic recordings
from 80's bands.
In this and in the next newsletter we show you some of our
most interesting bands and records and we hope this information
will be usefoul for you.

| THE
SHAKE will issue their CD debut in USA early
2007 |

THE
SHAKE
comes from the city of Almeria, at the south east of
Spain. Their CD debut is called "Trippin'
the whole colourful world". In this CD
you can find pop, psichedelia, beat, early rock &
garage.
TRIPPIN’ THE WHOLE COLOURFUL WORLD
is a collection of 14 songs that rare time happen of
the three minutes between which fight is possible to
emphasize cuts like "Can´t fight
your loving", "She´s my girl",
"Oh no" or "real Something"... and
in that they are guessed that they have drunk of the
sources of classic like Sonics, Easybeats, Kinks, Who,
Flaming Groovies, Los Brincos, Manfred Mann, Los Salvajes,
Small Faces, Spencer Group Davis, Dave Clark Five, The
Troggs and so many other mythical bands of the 60's.
The album was recorded in Estudios Pause (Spain) under
the production of Manuel Alcaraz and The Shake. The
result conjugates the power and the definition of the
present productions and the aged flavor of the classic
recordings; the muscular guitars of the Who more mod
and their agreed ones of power with the voices purified
of Searchers or of the Fab Four !!!.
On 2006 they played in some of the most important festivals,
even at the IPO Festival in Liverpool (UK) and they
get the award as the best spanish pop-mod band from
the 3rd Cáceres Pop Art.
In the first days of 2007 the album will be avaliable
in USA through Rainbow
Quartz.

Spain, this extremely cool neo-garage, slightly mod,
very psychedelic pop/rock band offer up an album of
perfectly sculpted songs dripping with harmonies with
guitars both jangly and crunchy -- it is truly Revolveresque

"U9"
is a compilation of nine spanish emergent pop-punk bands,
for all band this is his first release.
Eighteen short, direct, funny songs that tell about
porn stars, teen lovers, scary movies, school affaires,
or against the old heavy metal bands or even a The Ramones
funny story.
One of the bands, All the cream, sing in english.

Hermosos
Vencidos, take his name from Leonard Cohen's "Beautifoul
Loosers". Ther make rock'n'roll in spanish language.
Early 2007 will issue their first CD "La Ciudad de
los Semáforos en Verde" (Green semaphores city)
and will turn around Canada and Argentina.
The CD includes a cover from the Andrés Calamaro
classic "Flaca".

The
kind listening of a LIGRE disc is a experience
that does not leave indifferent, like the feline del that
takes their name, are the result of a mixture, a crossing
of influences that according to same them goes from Lennon
and McCartney to Belle & Sebastian, happening through
Brian Wilson, Byrds, Kinks, Neil Young, Love or Blur and
leaving to us the strictly musical thing, Gaudí,
Stanley Kubrick, Richard Lester, the Marx Brothers or
even The Muffets. To listen Ligre is..... a different
feeling that still you have not experimented.
“EL DESASTRE DE SER INDIE”, Mini-cd issued
by FLOR Y NATA RECORDS. Recorded in Barcelona
and produced by Manel Ibáñez (Les Tres Bien
Ensemble) and Gerard P. Civat. Flor y Nata Records publish
the first official Mini CD of Ligre, a collection of eight
songs that take the title from the one of them "EL
DESASTRE DE SER INDIE" (DISASTER OF BEING
INDIE) like generic, indeed the one of the song that will
serve like 1st single. Eight songs are single, but each
one is a world in if same, is difficult not to let itself
catch by the magic of "Tumbados" or by the atmosphere
of "Todavia es pronto" that in addition it will
still appear in a compilation named “Tentaciones Indies”.
Eight
small jewels, each one with own personality in which to
small winks or tributes to their favorite artists and
groups can be guessed, details that also extend to the
cover that is to be observed with attention the small
details that give useful tracks to the hour to listen
to the disc.

CASUAL,
New EP-CD after European tour |

CASUAL comes from Barcelona and also
have new 5 songs CD called "La
Nova Medicina" (The New Medicine). They
have a good reputation in the european dark & gotic
scene. In this new cd you can see an evolution into rock
sound with no forget their dark roots. "La Nova Medicina"
is their 4th CD.
Good press, long story and foreign experience in their
lugage that you can see at the new videoclip with the
song that give title to this new CD. You can watch it
at Youtube.
If you wish play this video in your TV show, It's enclosed
at the nº 37 distribution from Prosetman.

Telegrama,
was the band who make the first FYN records in 1981, now we rescue
all his recordings in "Power Pop".
Kamenbert
was other of the big pop-soul bands in the 80's, all their songs
are in the 2CD "En Barcelona ya no hay nadie como tu".
Funny pop music are in the 2 EP-CD's from Los
Glosters, rock and pop at "Señales"
from Hondonero
or "El vertedero de la infamia" from Japiwor,
beautifoul songs at the two releases from Solo
Mac or the songwriter Irún.
Even if you wish Chistmas songs from around the world, Voces
del Liceo make an excelent compilation. They come
from the chorus line of the Barcelona's Liceum Theater.
